 Strong-Turner Alumni Chapter Announces Homecoming events The Strong-Turner Alumni Chapter (S-TAC), a chapter of the ASU Alumni Association focusing on African-American alumni and friends of the university, plans several Homecoming events. On Friday morning, Oct. 1, the S-TAC golf outing will be at Sage Meadows Golf Course beginning at 8 a.m. For more information on the golf outing, contact Victor Hill at 870-972-2310. That evening at 9 p.m., the S-TAC social will be held at the ASU Pavilion. On Saturday, Oct. 2, S-TAC will hold a business meeting in the Hames Room at the ASU Convocation Center from 9-10 a.m. The Centennial Honors Luncheon will be held in the Convocation Center Hames Room beginning at 12 noon. That evening, the Stong-Turner alumni dance will be held at Church Street Station, 524 South Church Street, in downtown Jonesboro, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. For more information on S-TAC Homecoming activities, contact Shelia Sanders, S-TAC Homecoming Chair, at 870-243-1657 or e-mail sheliads36@yahoo.com. All alumni and friends of the university are invited to attend Homecoming events. The full schedule for ASU's Centennial Homecoming includes the All-Alumni pre-game tailgate party at the Cooper Alumni Center; recognition of Distinguished Alumni at halftime of the game; reunions; alumni seminars; luncheons; tailgates; the 5th Quarter Party after the football game at The Brickhouse, 218 South Main, downtown Jonesboro; and activities by academic colleges.
