ASU - Jonesboro: Small Business and Technology Development Center to Host Cash Flow Planning and Budgeting Seminar
Arkansas State University's Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce will jointly offer a small business seminar entitled, "Cash Flow Planning and Budgeting-Growing Your Bottom Line," in Blytheville, Monday, May 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The seminar will be offered from at the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce Conference Room.
The workshop will help small business owners get a better
understanding of how to use their financial statements for good cash
flow planning.
"Managing cash flow to keep a healthy bottom line is vital for any small business, especially in today's challenging economic times," said Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC Center Director. "In this workshop we assist small businesses to develop simple but effective tools that they can use to manage cash flow and create good budgets to help maintain
liquidity."
Topics include understanding cash operating cycles, managing Accounts Receivable and Payables, using industry benchmark financial tools to develop realistic forecasts, and more.
The cost is $35 per person ($25 for Blytheville Chamber
