Campus Street Closed for Childhood Center Construction Caddo Street, between Robinson and Iroquois Streets on the Arkansas State University campus, will be closed starting Tuesday, July 1. The Childhood Development and Research Center, operated by Childhood Services, is expanding with the addition of a building just south of the existing center. The street had to be closed to make room for the expansion, according to Dr. Russ Hannah, associate vice chancellor for business and finance at A‑State. A temporary one-way, eastbound connector from University Loop to Pawnee Street will be available for cars and utility vehicles only during the construction period. Those who drop off and pick up children at the center will use this connector along the north side of the center, away from the construction zone. Vehicular access to the other university departments at the southeast corner of the campus will continue to be available by way of Pawnee Street, which may be accessed from Aggie Road just west of Red Wolf Blvd. Departments affected include Facilities Management, Procurement Services, Information Technology Services, and Environmental Research, Safety and Training.
