The Bay Elementary School’s S.T.A.N.D. Out of the Dark Club held a benefit at their school on April 25, 2014, to help raise money for the Northeast Arkansas Regional Recovery Center in Jonesboro. The benefit is one of the many community service projects that the Club has each year to help bring awareness to the importance of helping others in our communities. Mrs. Phyllis Ann Curtis is the Club’s Sponsor.

The S.T.A.N.D. Out of the Dark Club is part of the Out of the Dark School Chapter (ODSC) network that was established in April of 2009 as Out of the Dark Inc.’s community response to the growing drug addiction epidemic that has been stealing so may children away in every community in the country. The program now involves over 1,000 students from every public school district in Craighead County and is supported by the community through Out of the Dark Inc. and the Craighead Out of the Dark Coalition.
