 Out of the Dark to recognize Students.
The Out of the Dark Student Recognition Dinner has been scheduled for Monday, May 6, 2013, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Upper Crust Pizza located at 3120 Shelby Drive, Jonesboro, AR 72401. The dinner is to recognize several Craighead County students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in their school and their community for leadership, advocacy and chemical addiction prevention through their Out of the Dark School Chapters and to announce the winner of the 2013 Mary Mooney Memorial Scholarship. The finalists for the 2013 Mary Mooney Memorial Scholarship are:

B. Adams – Riverside High School Students are nominated by their Out of the Dark School Chapter and the finalists are determined by the Out of the Dark Board of Directors. The winner of the 2012 scholarship was Jonesboro High School’s Tre' Crume.
The Mary Mooney Memorial Scholarship is the highest honor given by the
organization to a graduating student for their outstanding leadership and
contributions to their community in fighting against the illness of chemical
addiction through their Out of the Dark School Chapter. The Out of the Dark
School Chapter program was established in April of 2009 and includes 17 school
chapters represented by every public school district in Craighead County,
Arkansas.
