 Duchess Needs a Home Duchess is an 18-month old female Basset Hound. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and will be spayed before leaving the shelter. Unfortunately, Duchess recently tested positive for heartworms. The Humane Society is able to treat heartworms, but the adoption fee is an additional $100 to offset the cost of the treatment. Duchess is very laid back and loving she is very good with all people and other pets.
