Craighead Electric Cooperative (Jonesboro, Ark.) has moved their billing design and mailing operations to SynTel’s Premier Solutions (SPS) outsourced mailroom and document design service. The electric coop selected SPS due to its ability to provide custom designed statements and more substantial postage savings.

Danny Pridmore, Craighead Electric’s Vice President of Corporate Service, explained that their previous provider did not provide any ability to customize bills, which made service to coop members more difficult. He also cited SynTel’s ability to combine more documents into one envelope, reducing the number of items that need to be mailed and realizing greater postage discounts.

“Presenting a customer with a correctly calculated, easy to read bill containing relevant usage data is the lifeblood of our business,” Pridmore said. “SynTel was the only company we spoke to that could take our needs and apply them specifically to the bill design.
