This morning's groundbreaking ceremony at 3909 Harrisburg Road marked the beginning of a much-anticipated construction project; the new Fire Station #4 is being build at that location by the City of Jonesboro to replace the old station on Stadium.

Construction Network Inc. is building the project, Brackett-Krennerich & Associates are the architects for the project and Perry Winn with Construction Network is the project manager.

The $1.7 million facility will be 10,000 to 11,000 square feet and should be completed around January 2012.
