Local Culture is new to the local business scene, but already, the frozen yogurt favorite is diving into the local community, too. Starting tomorrow, June 7, Local Culture will host Culture Fest, a week of experiencing various types of culture.

Tomorrow’s theme is Art Culture, which will feature many of the area’s best artists from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Art Culture will feature works by Amber Heard, Beth Snodgrass, Bobby Green – Custom Metal Works, Godsey’s Gourmet, Heide Carlisle – Hidden Cove Pottery, Jan Troutt, Janice Cranford, Kara Fowler, Karla Keller, Kim Ledden – Kimmie’s Custom Cookies, Leslie Tucker, Mary-John White – Toodledoo Designs, Paula Wewers, Scott Hoke – Second Movement Art and Sean Shrum – The Sean Shrum Gallery.

Enjoy a night out with your church’s youth or college group on Wednesday, June 8 for Youth Culture. For Pop Culture on Thursday, June 9, Local Culture is having a dance party. Finally, on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, Local Flavor is hosting Family Culture, a weekend of fun, food and face painting for the entire family to enjoy.
