Looking for an unusual Valentine’s Day gift? Delta Symphony Orchestra member Marcia Burns of Jonesboro has organized Valentine Serenades to raise funds for the orchestra. Funds raised will help sponsor the Young Artists Concerto Concert that will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Fowler Center on the ASU Campus.

Burns is organizing several groups, including a vocal duo and instrumentalists, to serenade your loved ones on Valentine¹s Day, Monday, February 14, 2011. To book a serenade for your sweetheart you need to call Mrs. Burns at 870.931.1131 between the hours of 3:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.  All serenades must be booked by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 11, so book today!

Burns will take your information and set up your requested serenade. Each serenade comes with a rose, chocolates and a note to your sweetheart with your name and message. Serenades are $25 and the Symphony will accept Cash or Checks. Please mail all payments to Delta Symphony Orchestra, Attn: Christy McKeel, 1605 Garland, Jonesboro, AR 72401. Payments must be received by Saturday,February 12, 2011.
