As SynTel embarks on the second decade of the nearly new Millennia, we’re no longer the company we were just a year ago. Of course, some things never change: Continuously maintaining the peerless quality of our flagship software products, AutoMail® and MailStream Manager®, is a constant; moreover, our commitment to delivering world class customer service is embedded in our corporate DNA.

Both product quality and service excellence are the two qualities that best define SynTel and who we are.  As we look forward, the horizon has broadened significantly in terms of markets we serve and the capabilities we offer.

Banks continue to comprise the majority of our customer base, but as we move forward, we’re targeting transaction based businesses in all verticals, including utilities, insurance, health services, distribution and transportation services, and the list goes on and on.  As we closed out 2010, more than 50% of our fourth quarter sales were to non-banks.

In this new decade, eDelivery will continue to grow and, by 2020, it will become the predominant way business documents are processed and delivered.
 
Our new eDelivery engine, which we developed in 2010, is designed to facilitate the growing demand for this lower cost delivery channel.

We also adopted an initiative to develop mobile capabilities for both banks and commercial businesses.  This is a huge undertaking, but consistent with our Mission to provide the best tools for enabling businesses to optimize the design, production and delivery of all customer related documents.

In response to a change among our 1400 users, we established SPS, SynTel Premier Solutions, to meet the increasing demand for 3rd party outsourcing services.  SPS is already serving banks, utilities and medical billing markets in the production and delivery of monthly and periodic statements; moreover, it will soon have the capability of providing complete remittance processing services from statement delivery to payment processing.  Print to mail.  eDelivery and mobile’s on the way.

With new markets, new products and new services, the new SynTel is richer than ever in opportunity and promise.
