Committee receives four applications, total is now 15 The pool of candidates for president of Arkansas State University has grown to 15, as the Presidential Search Advisory Committee received four new applications during the past week.
The most recent applicants are:
-- Dr. Annette D. Digby of Jefferson City, Mo., vice president for Academic Affairs and provost, and professor of education, Lincoln University.
-- Dr. Mark Drummond of Twentynine Palms, Calif., provost and chief operating officer, Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates.
-- Dr. Donald Andrew Edwards Jr. of Perdido Beach, Ala., former vice president for operations and planning, Alabama Community College System, Department of Postsecondary Education.
-- Dr. Richard J. Federinko of Dadeville, Ala., senior vice chancellor for Student Services and Administration at Troy University.
The Presidential Search Advisory Committee will meet again on Wednesday, Oct. 13, to continue its review of applicants and conduct interviews. The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the ASU System Office, 2004 East Nettleton Ave. in Jonesboro.
Information on nominating a qualified individual or submitting an application, along with a description of the ASU System and the position announcement, is available on the Arkansas State University Presidential Search website,http://presidentialsearch.asusystem.edu. Applications will be accepted until the Board of Trustees makes an appointment, but interested individuals are encouraged to submit applications by Oct. 15. [+] add comment |
