News Taffy

Outlaw is our dog of the week and by good reason. He was a stray outside of Black Oak and was being shot at and abused. He's a 4 year old Shepherd Mix that has a heart of gold. The sky's the limit with Outlaw! He's super sweet and is an absolute sucker for belly scratches. Outlaw watches out for all the smaller dogs at the shelter and with his bark, we know when he's having to use authority!!!

Sassie is our featured cat. She's a 3 month old Brown Tabby. Sassie gets her name from being a little "Sassie Pants"! She loves to check everything out in the cat room and likes to steal all the attention when visitors are around. You can catch Sassie climbing to the top of her kennel and jumping down just to get attention! And it works!!!
