Who needs turkey for Thanksgiving when you’ve got pie? It’s the perfect end to a Thanksgiving dinner, so we’re asking readers to submit their favorite Thanksgiving pie recipe on Jonesboro.com. From classic Thanksgiving pies such as pumpkin or apple, to something a little less traditional like chocolate or pear, send us the recipe for your family’s favorite pie for the Thanksgiving holiday. Each entry should include a list of ingredients, directions and what makes this pie a Thanksgiving favorite. If selected as one of the ten finalists, contestants will be asked to bake their pie and deliver it for judging on Monday, Oct. 20. The top three pies will be featured in the November issue of Jonesboro Occasions. (Limit one entry per person. Certain rules and restrictions apply.)
