JOB SUMMARY:
SynTel’s software developer will design, develop, support and maintain standalone and client/server based software solutions used for the automation of modern accounts receivable, mailroom and document processing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Determine software requirements based on internal and client requests
• Design, develop and test software to meet those requirements
• Maintain currently deployed software by troubleshooting customer issues and providing bug fixes as needed
• Train customer support and installation personnel on new software packages and features
• Coordinate development work with other team members
• Continually improve development processes for greater efficiency, communication and software quality
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.
TECHNOLOGICAL PROFICIENCIES:
• Windows development technologies (.Net/C#/C++/WPF/Windows Forms/Win32 API)
• Web development technologies (ASP.Net/AJAX/WCF/SOAP/PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
• Database technologies (ADO.Net/Entity/ADO/SQL Server/MS Access/mySQL)
• Device dependent and independent printer technologies (PCL/PostScript/PDF/XPS)
• Software development tools (Visual Studio/Debugging/Profiling)
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Continuous Integration processes
OTHER INFORMATION:
• After hours and weekend work as needed based on customer issues and project goals
• Special circumstance installations and issues may require onsite client visits
