To manage the implementation of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). To assist end-users with day-to-day problems regarding EMR. Administer the EMR training program, on-call rotation and EMR staff. Provide knowledge for interfacing systems into EMR. Give feedback and status updates to Administrative staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review and document patient flow process to improve utilization of EMR and patient satisfaction. Analyze current workflows and processes in clinic settings to enhance patient care, patient safety and staff productivity.

- Monitor end-user performance through custom reporting. Providing feedback to managers and supervisors.

- Develop policies and procedures for consistent use of EMR through out the organization.

- Responsible for commanding a strong knowledge of the EMR application feature/functionality and it's interaction with ancillary systems.

- Develop training methodologies to educate individuals on Touchworks in both one-on-one and group settings.

- Align EMR goals and projects with direction set by administration.

- Communicate progress and status with physicians and administration.

- Develop workflows and technology for interfacing with outside organizations.

- Responsible for demonstrating the value and power the EMR system will provide to end users in their jobs and make it a positive experience.

- Assist in the development, coordination and execution of project plans with external agencies.
