The Learned Ladies
The Valley View Theatre Department is proud to announce their performance of The Learned Ladies, a original comedy by Moliere, adapted and translated by Timothy Mooney. Set in Paris in 1672 Philaminte is an educated woman who uses wit to rule her family with an iron fist. Her daughter, Henriette, decides to marry off to a poet. Chrysale is the only one with the ability to save his daughter. Will he have the courage to stand up to his wife? As with past productions, we at Valley View expect The Learned Ladies to be another great success.
Opening night is Thursday 7 p.m. April 12th, 2012 two other performances include Friday, April 13th and Monday, April 16th at 7 p.m. The Valley View Fine Arts Center will be open 6:30 p.m. on performance dates.
Tickets may be purchased at the box office located in the Valley View Fine Arts Center for five dollars general admission.
