SUMMER FUN at the Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center!!
Tuesday, June 10 –
1:30pm Snakes of Arkansas
Discover fascinating facts about snakes and learn how to identify the six venomous snakes of Arkansas.
Wednesday, June 11 –
1:30pm – 2:30pm Reptile Bingo
Join us for an hour of bingo that is all about reptiles. Prizes. All ages are welcome.
Thursday, June 12 –
1:30pm – 2:30pm Nature Arts and Crafts
Reptile craft activity. All supplies furnished.
Friday, June 13 –
9:00am – 11:00am Fishing Friday at Craighead Forest Park Family Fishing Area, Access #5
Rods and reels, as well as bait, will be provided on a first come first served basis. Limited supplies available. A drawing for fishing gear will be held at 11:00am for participants only. For ages 15 and younger.
Tuesday, June 17–
1:30pm The American Alligator
Get an up close look at the American alligator and discover fascinating facts about Arkansas’s large reptile.
Wednesday, June 18 –
1:30pm Nature Matinee
Beat the heat and join us for a matinee featuring some of nature’s most exciting animals. Free popcorn!
Thursday, June 19 –
1:30pm – 2:30pm Fishing Bingo
Join us for an hour of bingo that is all about fishing. Prizes. All ages are welcome.
Friday, June 20 –
9:00am – 11:00am Fishing Friday at Craighead Forest Park Family Fishing Area, Access #5
