Godsey's Grill
226 S. Main St. Jonesboro, AR
Limited seating. Pre-registration recommended

Join us in a casual setting for an evening of juicy burgers, crispy fries, a refreshing drink, and rocket science! Four panelists will journey from the far reaches of our state to share their star-flung encounters. Ed Wilson leads the Atmospheric and Space Research Team at Harding University whose projects focus on hybrid rocket motor exhaust plumes, and development of a spectrometer for a NASA rover mission to Mars.  David Thomas of Lyon College studies the search for life in extraterrestrial environments and how microorganisms adapt to extreme environments. Tillman Kennon of Arkansas State University is a Research Director and Coordinator of the statewide BalloonSAT programs which include high altitude studies of Earth’s atmosphere. Linda Williams, Research Liaison at UAMS and Science Café Little Rock host, will moderate the event and share highlights of her 13 years working for NASA.

Godsey’s full dinner menu will be available. To reserve a seat (or two) email your request to: arkansassciencefestival@gmail.com.
