Kans for Kids is a service project sponsored by Leadership Jonesboro Team B. The goal of the project is to raise awareness, money, and food supplies which benefit the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, and more specifically the Backpack Program. The Backpack Program provides needy children in NEA with a backpack full of kid friendly snacks and meals on the weekends for an entire school year. It costs $144 per child per year. Join us for a food drive at Bill's at Hilltop and on South Stadium, Hays on Nettleton, and Harps from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or contact kansforkids@gmail.com for more information.
