Hope Week 2013 – NEA Baptist Events
All Week – Food drive benefiting Food Bank of NEA
Non-perishable goods and monetary donations accepted at all NEA Baptist Clinic locations through Friday morning. Food bank will pick up at noon on Friday.

50 FREE mammogram vouchers given out to women who qualify; 40 FREE prostate cancer screening vouchers given out to men who qualify (blood draw done at the event tomorrow)
Goody bags with educational materials passed out, free pizza, etc.
“Bucket Brigade” raising money for Susan G. Komen and Arkansas Prostate Foundation
Wednesday September 25th – “Teal Talk”, 11:30a-1p, Southwest Church of Christ
Sponsored by NEA Baptist Clinic and First Security Bank
A free luncheon for the public to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Speaker- gynecologic oncologist, Sanjeev Kumar, MD.
Tickets required for entry & can be picked up at NEA Baptist Clinic Corporate office (1835 Grant Ave) or any First Security Bank location
There will also be booths setup with educational materials, as well as a free blood pressure screening area
Thursday September 26th – Meet Our New Doctors, 4:30p-6:30p, NEA Baptist Clinic Wellness Center
Open to the public, drop-in reception. Will give community members the chance to meet and visit with physician who have joined NEA Baptist Clinic in 2012 and 2013.
Free tours of the Wellness Center also available.
Mother/Daughter Self-Image Workshop, 5:30p-7:30p, Families, Inc. (1815 Pleasant Grove Rd.)

FREE workshop designed to help mothers and daughters connect on a higher level, learn strategies to increase self esteem, and learn to live a healthier lifestyle.

Saturday September 28th – ShareHope Walk of Remembrance and Hope, registration 9a, program and walk begin at 10a
Raises awareness and funds for the ShareHope program – formed out of the desire to serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first few months of life.
The families of those affected will take part in a balloon release and walk around the park.
