Cavenaugh Thumperthon 5K will be held on Sept 24 at 8 a.m. at Stewert Park in Walnut Ridge to benefit the NEA Humane Society. Bring your furry running partner and run with them. The course is flat and fast. Prizes will be awarded for both dogs and their owners. A Kids Fun Run will be held after the race, every child under 12 will be awarded a medal.
