NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital is proud to sponsor the first ever Mother’s Day Butterfly 5K – benefitting ShareHope, a program of NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation.

We are hopeful that this event will raise enough money to purchase a new camera and special lens to aid in our photography program that provides memories of these precious babies, to help fund our annual Walk of Remembrance, Angel Tree Lighting, and Butterfly Release to commemorate the lives of the loved ones lost, and finally to raise money for the ShareHope Family Fund.
ShareHope is a program of the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation. It was formed out of love by a mother who had lost her own baby shortly before her birth. ShareHope is called when a family loses or has an impending loss of a child during pregnancy, at birth or within the first few months of life. We offer support during one of the most difficult times of their lives. We provide mementos, clothing, blankets, photographs and other items collected after the delivery.
In addition, ShareHope helps the family with funeral arrangements and memorial services. This year we have created a special fund called the ShareHope Family Fund that helps low income families cover funeral costs as needed.
