Author Russell Ferrell will be in the store to sign copies of his new book The Bone War of McCurtain County - a true story about two amateur naturalists - Arkansas hillbilly Cephis Hall and his friend Sid Love, a Choctaw Indian, who discovered and excavated a world-class dinosaur specimen and were forced to battle the landowner, a major corporation, and its friends in government and academia over ownership rights. The book chronicles one of the greatest dinosaur discoveries (and excavations) in history and combines science and history with an epic adventure story. A tale of mystery, nature, adventure, and an unauthorized version of the American Dream - Indiana Jones Southern style.
