MicroSociety Magnet
blends technology, economics, citizenship, government, humanities, arts
and ethics into their core curriculum. Traditional academic subjects
are studied and then applied "on the job" during program activities.
MicroSociety's Chamber of Commerce includes 40 small businesses
designed by student entrepreneurs in addition to 10 agencies such as a
bank, postal service and judicial system. MicroSociety classrooms are
equipped with Smart Technology to enhance student learning during
classroom studies and business operations. In addition to a
state-of-the-art computer lab, MicroSociety has a mobile computer lab
with 30 laptop computers in order to increase students' access to
technology for instructional projects.
